Managing director Ian Truman started the company in 1998.
Certified to the highest professional Microsoft standards and with post-graduate qualifications in Mathematics
and Computing, Ian has extensive experience in architechting and developing enterprise-wide applications including
integrating discrete and legacy systems.
Ian has in-depth experience in the full suite of Microsoft server and developer technologies as well as a broad
range of security and business process analysis methods. In a consultancy role Ian is able to act in the capacity of
IT Director, providing much needed strategic and planning input to clients.

Dave is responsible for ensuring IT Developers are at the leading edge of technologies and that clients get the benefit of such technologies as soon possible.
Katy Harrison Developer / Support // BSc (joint hons)
Katy joined IT Developers in June 2010, straight after completing her finals at The University of Liverpool,
obtaining a First class Degree in Maths and Computer Science. She was awarded the Andrew Young award for
Excellence in Maths and the Ray Paton Memorial Prize for best performance in the field of Biocomputation
Katy has settled in to the team well and has quickly established significant capability with sourcing and problem
solving the various hardware and software needs of our diverse client base. During her first year at IT Developers
she has also become familiar with writing Windows Forms and ASP.NET
web applications using VB.NET,
HTML and SQL.
Phil Childs Tech Support
Phil joined the technical support team in November '08 and quickly started to take responsibility for and
resolve many of our customers day to day technical issues. His qualifications in Business, IT and his
enthusiasm for all things technical, make him a valuable asset to the team.
Phil has vast experience working with XP and Vista platforms as well as Windows Server 2003 / 2008. Mobile
technology and general office hardware support have become a natural next step within his capabilities and
was very much born out of his love of gadgets and taking things apart from a young age!
Garry Henwood Sage / ACT Specialist // BSc (Hons)
Garry is an approved Sage Reseller and Trainer and has 20 years experience in accounting systems for small businesses.
Whenever we need to integrate with accounting systems - Garry gets involved!
Adam Turner Product Development Manager // BSc (Hons)
With a first class honours degree in Computing and Management Sciences from Sheffield Hallam University, Adam is
extremely well positioned to drive our R&D efforts.
Using his previous experience working for a multi-national software company, Adam drives innovation and efficiency
in our practice. To instil this ethos, he is now working in partnership with Liverpool John Moores University academic
staff on a 2 year project to create a market leading legal practice management Software as a Service (SaaS). Part of
this process will be to research into cutting edge development methodologies and techniques to improve and transfer a
more commoditised approach to the way we do things.
Mark Picton Associate Senior Developer // BSc (Hons) MSc
Mark has worked in the IT sector for more than 25 years and provides the company with consultancy services
and as a senior development resource. With expertise primarily in the delivery of Microsoft based solutions,
he brings an impressive breadth of project experience to the company, ranging from multi-million pound enterprise
level projects for some of the worlds largest corporations, through to servicing a large number of clients within
the small business sector.
Adam Cooper Associate Senior Developer // BSc (Hons)
Adam is our Senior e-commerce developer. Adam has worked for over 12 years across a broad range of website development - primarily on e-commerce systems, as such, Adam is responsible for design and delivery of applications requiring web-enabled transactions.
