The Business
B&M Supplies are one of the leading home care product distributors to care homes and similar in the North of England. Based out of Southport, Merseyside, they distribute thousands of products across the North West and Midlands to private and council run care facilities.
Next day delivery and a personal approach to ensuring client satisfaction is critical.
The Challenge
B & M Supplies had a need for extremely bespoke, flexible and intelligent pricing algorithms and the ability to invoice multi-branch and associated partners in consolidated invoice runs. In addition – template based order retrieval that would automatically reflect market price changes and other critical line of business sensitivities.
Complete Sage 50 Accounts integration was also required for both sales and purchase ledger
The Solutions
A bespoke windows form application (vb.net & SQL) was created to provide bespoke SOP / POP, stock management and heavily customised business workflow and pricing strategies. All customer and supplier transactions are committed via the BMS system which then fully integrates with Sage 50 Accounts in real time.
Sales reps can manage client pricing with complete sensitivity to market price fluctuations and enable group wide customers to benefit from shared purchase strategies.
