NTDA (or National Tyre Distributors Association) is a trade association that represents the interests and promotion of the tyre wholesale, retail and distribution of tyres throughout the UK.
They regulate the interests of their member organisations who can range from one to hundreds of depots nationwide, in a market that is highly competitive and ever changing.
The association exists solely for its member organisations and aims to mediate between them and the regulatory bodies whilst ensuring fair trade and equal opportunity.
The sheer size of NTDA and it’s National association status meant that as an organisation, the old website was quite simply outdated.
NTDA knew that as a figurehead of an entire industry, it needed to move with the times, so a decision was made to update the website to something that was on point and presented both the brand and the information they wished to convey in a succinct manner.
IT Developers started out by wire framing the site to lay the foundations for the content that was to sit on top. A close communication with Stefan Hay (Director) was kept at all times to ensure the objectives of the client were met at all time.
A wordpress CMS was chosen as the platform to build upon. Highlights include:
- Members registration and approval
- Exclusive access to member information
- Depot search with map and direction function
- Social media integration
- Award polling
