The Business

Rockoff (Trade) are an international distributor of officially licensed merchandise products for hundreds of globally recognised TV brands and music artists including, Dr Who,  The Sopranos, Sesame Street, The Beatles, AC DC, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Pink Floyd, One Direction, The Sex Pistols and Olly Murs to name but a few.

Rockoff manufacture and distribute to shops, other Trade outlets and to other key distribution partners across the World.

Thousands of items ranging from key rings to T-shirts, mugs to sleeping bags and IPad accessories.

The Challenge

Rockoff provide consignment based stock provisions to selected High Street retailers in the UK including  HMV.  The challenge was to provide a web based multi-user based stock movement, allocation, purchase and sales system to integrate with retailers own database systems.

The Solutions

A bespoke web site application was implemented that facilitated client purchase order processing based on supplier spreadsheet uploads for goods distribution to retail outlets around the UK.

In addition, stock positions by artist and product are uploaded on a regular basis and stock balances adjusted accordingly to facilitate reconciliation of stock positions  and sales volumes.

Manifest documentation is produced for each and every store delivery
